I normally conduct an evaluation that lasts from 1 to 2 sessions. During this time, we both decide if I am the best person to provide the services you need in order to meet your treatment goals. An evaluation and psychotherapy appointment is scheduled for a one hour session per week, at a time we agree on; However, some sessions may be longer or more frequent. Once an appointment is made you will be expected to keep the appointment. You will also be expected to pay for any missed appointments unless you provide 24 hours advance notice of cancellation or if we both agree that you were unable to attend due to circumstances beyond your control. I will gladly reschedule the appointment according to my schedule and at your convenience.
My hourly fee for psychotherapy is $100.00 for a one hour session. In addition to weekly appointments, I charge this amount for other professional services you may need, breaking down the costs to 30 minute intervals if I work for periods of less than one hour. We will discuss fees for other services such as reports or legal services upon intake.
BILLING AND PAYMENTS
You will be expected to pay for each session at the beginning of the session, unless we agree otherwise or unless you have insurance coverage which requires another arrangement. In circumstances of unusual financial hardship, we will negotiate a sliding scale.
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING TO MY FIRST APPOINTMENT
Please print and sign the Admission Report Form, HIPAA, Client Rights and Responsibilities, as well as an Orientation Contract Form and bring them to the office on our first visit. If you are unable to print these forms please read and familiarize yourself with these policies. These forms can be obtained on this website under Forms on this page. When you come to the office you should also bring your divers license, social security card, and if you have insurance benefits that are paying for you therapy, please bring your insurance card.
